What is your skin care regime, and which products you use and why?
My skin care regime is fairly simple. My skin is deemed to be "normal" - not too oily, not too dry…I use an organic skin care range, Sukin. I love using their cream cleanser, their face moisturiser, their moisture restoring night cream and their rose hip hydrating day cream. All of their products seem to sit really nicely on my skin and are really gentle. Love the fact that they are all natural and organic too I am a BIG fan of their face masks and indulge in these during a long bath at least 2 times a week.
Do you take any health supplements to help with skin/hair/nails?
I don't take any supplements to help with skin, hair or nails. Instead, I make sure that I am getting lots of good oils from my foods, ensuring that I eat salmon, coconut oil and avocado throughout the week. Also, I drink nearly 4 litres of water a day and find that my skin glows and my hair is naturally shinny when I'm drinking more water.
-What are your favourite makeup products and why?
Napoleon Peridis Primer. I couldn't live without this. As it says on the packet. "Not to prime is a crime" and I agree. Sometimes I use this product simply as a moisturiser as it seems so slide onto my skin so nicely! -- Bobbi Brown Dark Brown Eyeshadow. I use this, using a slanted, thin brush to slightly darken my brows. As my hair is slightly darker than my natural hair colour it is nice to keep them matching. I get my brows tinted but they do fade out eventually! -- Lancome L'Extreme Mascara is my secret weapon. Sometimes this is all I end up applying if I am in a rush. My lashes seem to double when I put this on! I swear by this mascara and have been using it for years. -- Love my Napoleon Perdis Bronze Patrol bronzer. A cheeky touch of this on my cheek bones leaves me looking sun kissed all year round -- My Sukin natural face mask would have to be in my top 5 products. My face just feels so good after using this!!
Do you have any makeup tips/tricks you swear by?
Drink water!! The more water you drink, the healthier your skin and your hair will look and feel! Also, invest in a good mascara. I find that the really cheap ones seem to clump up, it is really worth investing in a good one as the result is so much better!
What are your favourite hair products and why?
Moroccan Oil - without a doubt. This is my hair secret and I couldn't go without with! It makes my hair so shiny and soft, it is amazing!! -- Pure African Shea Butter Hair Mask = amazing. The longer that you leave this in for the better -- I try to treat my hair to this once a week. -- My "Ceramic" Hair Curling Tongs. I quickly run these through my hair and it leaves the most beautiful, free flowing curls. These are definitely worth investing in!
