The hype surrounding this product has been huge- and for good reason, because it's everything you want and need in an eyeliner. For starters, it's a pen with a flexible tip- making to super easy to work the liner into the lash line . I can't recommend this more for those of you who are just started out with liner, or those of you who were like me and struggled to achieve a perfect winged line. I was RAPT to find out it's a gel formulation, because I've always found gel so much easier to work with than liquid- and it's a nice, matte black. I was incredibly impressed by how well it stayed on- and didn't fade or flake. It's waterproof, and just so easy to use...I don't rate products out of ten, because it's not my style- but if I did, this would get 6 million out of ten! So now you know why it's amazing, and why I don't use an out of ten system ;)
I don't think there's a single one of us that doesn't suffer from tired eyes, if even occasionally. These are generally displayed in the OH so lovely under eye bags, dark circles, and puffiness. To counteract those horrible things (each pretty horrible words too, if I'm honest)- let's look at what this magical potion contains. There's grapeseed oil, which we is incredibly hydrating, and rose- which is for toning and nourishing the poor wee tired area. The eye area desperately need a antioxidants at this time- which you'll receive via the organic white tea ingredient. It sounds yum because it IS yum. My favourite thing? It has a roller ball application, which is seriously the smoothest thing ever on your lids. I keep mine in the fridge to make it even more of an indulgence & can't recommend it enough. You NEED this!
Okay- I REALLY love this, so much. I've been wearing it continuously over the past week, and I don't think I've ever ad so many compliments on my skin before. "GURRRL YOU SO GLOWY!"- well, no one said exactly that, but that's probably what they meant. Coverage-wise, it's substantially more so than a regular BB- I'd go so far as to class it as a light coverage foundation. You can build it up (if you work quickly)- and the finish is just gorgeous. Not dewy as such- just glowing. It's sad to have to put powder over it, so perhaps only apply powder where you think you'll really need it. It lasts and lasts, thanks to it being part of the Double Wear family, and feels lovely and lightweight on the skin. If you want to see how it looks on my face, click here, and if you'd like to try it- pop into any Estee Lauder counter and ask nicely for a sample, they'll be happy to help. This gets ten million out of ten, easily.
Oh my god, my hair has been waiting for this! Not only does it smell SPECTACULAR, but it made my hair super soft and shiny- and properly nourished. Particularly the ends, which were in in dire need of attention. This pot of goodness with the tricky to pronounce name (which actually translates to "The God of Hair" in Cantonese) has so many amazing ingredients to treat your hair. Avocado to soften, balsamic vinegar for shine, and watercress infusion- which naturally strengthens the hair. Add in some extra virgin olive oil, some bananas, eggs...it sounds like a snack, but don't eat it. Feed it to your head, asap.
Okay, okay- I know it's winter, and who tans in winter? I do, actually, because if I don't, I look kinda sickly and it's not a good time for anyone that has to look at me. I love ModelCo, so when these guys arrived I couldn't wait to try them out- LOVE. The new Natural Tan range is just lovely- especially the mousse. It's coconut scented, which makes me think of summer (aka, happier times) and was a dream to apply- no crazy streaks, and it faded nicely. So there's no parabens, artificial fragrances, colours or preservatives..and guess what else? ModelCo is now a PETA certified cosmetics company- YAAAY! You've got to try this, and remember as always, use a mitt. It's kind of a rule.
You guys know that song, "Save The Best For Last?"? Youtube it if you don't, because that expresses somewhat creepily how I feel about this post. Hyacinth Girl is my favourite beauty blog after my own, and sometimes before my own- and it has recently gotten a brand new look and layout. IT IS SASSY. Morgan will tell you exactly what she thinks of products, and make you laugh like a maniac in the process. Her writing style is slick, and jesus, she is ONTO it- she knows her stuff. To celebrate the new look Hyacinth Girl, Morgan has a ridiculously generous giveaway..seriously, you'll freak out. Naked 3 palette anyone? How about some Benefit Porefessional, or some Clinique mascara? Skincare, EOS lipbalms...they're all waiting for you, so click the link below immediately and show that sass-pot some love. Congratulations Morgan! John G and I are so proud, gurrrrrrrrrl.
