Guerlain Meteorites Perles d’Etoiles Illuminating Pearls
There’s not much not to love about this new addition to the Guerlain Meteorites collection- the luxe packaging is insanely pretty, for a start. I know it’s been selling out all over the world, so you’d have to get in pretty quickly if you fancy having this in your collection. For those of you who have no idea what it is, it’s a highlighter...but the HG of highlighters. You simply swirl your brush over the pearls, and apply- this particular finish is warmer than the ones I’ve tried so far- a sheer peachy gold. And it smells like violets. YUM. If you love the look of this beauty, definitely check out the rest of the new collection, it's called A Night At The Opera, and all the products are equally covet-able.
I don’t know how Bobbi Brown keeps bringing out such consistently beautiful products (especially at this time of year), but I’m hardly complaining! This is the Cool Eye Palette, a limited edition offering, and I’ve coveted it since I saw the gorgeous tortoiseshell packaging. I was also drawn to the fact that 4 out of the 6 shades are matte- I love shimmer so much that my matte collection has been lacking, so I’ve welcomed this bad boy in with open arms. As with other Bobbi Brown shadows, the quality is high, and the wee brush included is one you’ll actually use. Love it.
I have a love/hate relationship with sunscreen, but after my recent visit to The Face Place I know I NEED to wear it more regularly. And by more regularly I mean every single day. I have issues with sunscreen because the liquid versions can break me out and irritate my skin, so finding this product was a bit of a revelation. It’s a mineral powder sunscreen (that comes with its own brush) that you simply brush on- it couldn’t be easier. It comes in three different shades- light, medium, and tan- and is just perfect to keep in your bag for touch ups during the day. I love it, and it’s going to keep me from getting in trouble with my skin therapist, YAY.
This is one of the items available in the Napoleon Perdis Greatest Hits holiday collection, and I think it’s brilliant. Who doesn’t need more makeup brushes- especially when they come packaged in a brush roll that you can take anywhere? There are six brushes in total- a foundation brush, a brow/liner brush, a contour brush, a mascara or brow wand, and two eye shadow brushes. The quality of the brushes is outstanding, I love how soft they are. This would be a great gift for any MUO!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh my god, the latest collection from Elizabeth Arden is a WINNER, and I know it’s going to fly off the shelves. The glosses are gorgeous, the palettes are beautiful, and there are enough new shades of liner to satisfy absolutely everyone. Based around the fragrance Untold, my picks from the collection would be the Chic Browns Eye Shadow Quad, the Intriguing Violet Lip Gloss, and the Blackberry Eye Liner. I’m especially loving the Quad, because I love how long wearing and pigmented the Elizabeth Arden eye shadows are...and I’m just a sucker for a neutral eye. And the packaging is PRETTY! Sold.
I’d never heard of this skincare range before, and I’ve been missing out because it’s brilliant! I was sold when it was delivered to me in a box which claimed to contain falafel kebabs. Then when I read the hilariously irreverent packaging, and finished cracking up laughing, I instantly had to try the product. I’ve never tried exfoliating with a wipe before, and I tell you, it’s brilliant. My skin felt so fresh and glowy, and it took less than a minute- no excuses not to exfoliate any more. These are also super gentle and hydrating, and I can’t wait to try the other products in the range if they’re all as amazing as these.
Ahhhhh, this limited edition collection from Benefit is INSANE!!!! They all are, as per, but this one in particular has just blown me away. All ten mini products are ones that I’ve either tried and loved, or ones that I’ve been dying to try, so I was rapt! all the greats are there, including Porefessional, They’re Real, Dandelion and Posietint...and it’s going to be kind of dangerous for my bank balance, because I love the new ones I’ve tried so much that I NEED to buy the full sizes. Honestly, if you were feeling completely generous you could buy one, and give the products away as Christmas gifts...if you did this, you’d be an amazing friend ;)
This isn’t just an average bar of soap, but then again, Triumph & Disaster don’t know the meaning of average. My boyfriend blames me for being completely addicted to the range, which has made gift buying ridiculously easy- I recommend getting your men (or yourself) into it. But back to the soap; it’s lovely and hydrating thanks to the almond milk and rosehip oil it contains, and also has oat flakes which gently exfoliate the skin. AND THE SMELL. A blend of bergamot (one of my faves), cypress, cedar and juniper. Get it, get it now.
