It's not very often that you come across a brand that has ethics and business practices as amazing as the products they make. but that's the case with Oasis Beauty. Not only are these girls beautiful human beings who genuinely care about their customers- but they've caused me to become totally obsessed with their products.
I can't believe that I've been blogging for over a year, and never once reviewed any products from Napoleon Perdis...what are this??! That's all going to change though, because I've discovered their products are LUSH- and they really need more attention. I get the feeling that fans of this brand keep quiet about how amazing the products are...like it's a secret that they don't want to give away. I get this, because if you're quiet about something, you don't run the risk of something selling out/being out of stock. Sorry Napoleon Perdis fans- I'm blowing your cover- I have to. It's only fair.
Ten years ago, I really couldn't have cared less about my skin, or what I put on it. As far as I was concerned, as long as I had the new MAC eyeshadow quad and six million lipglosses, I was set. If I really think about it, I can't even remember what brand of moisturiser or cleanser I used- but I can guarantee you that they weren't from the same range, and that they were probably from the supermarket. This is all quite shocking to me now, given that my obsession for skincare has SERIOUSLY taken over my obsession for makeup- yep, I said it. I'm going to stand by it though, and my reasoning is this; it doesn't matter how much money you spend on fancy makeup products if you're not prepared to look after your base- because they just won't perform nicely. Aspect Skincare is now in my top three "I die for this" skincare brands, because DAMN gurrrl, it is just so good.
