Because I am a complete sucker for pretty packaging, and I'm already a an of the Box O' Powders, I had to try Sugarbomb. It's the perfect peachy pink shade, and incredibly subtle- it gives more of a pretty glow than a strong colour, but it's also easily buildable. Alternatively, you could layer it over the top of one of the Tints, which I'll talk about below. I'd recommend Sugarbomb especially for you fair skinned MUOs that struggle with blush shades being too strong- you'll love this guy.
There are actually 4 different shades of the Tints, my other favourite being Lollitint which was released in New Zealand earlier this year. It's a ridiculously pretty pink, lilac shade, which is right on trend with Pantone's Colour of the Year, Radiant Orchid. If you're a lover of pink, you need this in your life, like yesterday. Given you only need a tiny amount each time, it'll last you for ages. I've seen some beautiful tutorials featuring Lollitint, so if you need further convincing, jump on YouTube and have a look. I know that Shaaanxo in particular did an amazing one, so go and see!
And now of course, there's the brand new They're Real Push Up Liner. I am not a talent with liner. Well, that's not strictly true..liner I can do, but winged liner was a constant stress for me, I would end up in a rage not being able to get even flicks. I'm laughing at how ridiculous that sounds, but it's true. I also disliked how the majority of liners would transfer onto my lids...or the wings that I'd slaved over would wear off...and it was all just a drama I couldn't be bothered with. I don't have those excuses anymore with They're Real liner, because it's damn near perfect. My favourite thing is the formulation...it's gel, which I love working with- far easier than liquid, with more staying power than pencil. The next best thing is the pen tip, it gets right into the base of your lashes to fill in any gaps- in effect, making your eyes look huge and your lashes positively thick. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT, OKAY? It doesn't come out until late June, and I can safely say I will have run out of mine by then..so I'll be dashing to the Benefit counter to stock up.
Phew! That's it for now..but I can virtually guarantee I'll be reviewing more products from Benefit. Not only do I have about a dozen existing products on my wish list, but they just keep bringing out more!
