This falls firmly in the floral/aquatic fragrance categories for me- possibly even white floral if you want to get particularly particular ;) Which incidentally I DO, because white floral fragrances are my absolute favourites!
Michael Kors Turquoise contains top notes of waterlily, lime and cucumber; middle notes of wild orchid and jasmine; and rounds out with base notes of cedar, ambrox, musk, and fleur de sel. If you're wondering (like I did) what fleur de sel is exactly, it's French for "flower of salt"- an ingredient harvested from waters off the French Coast. It sounds quite strange, but it actually really does make you think of the sea when you smell it- so it's a pretty gorgeous fragrance element!
I've found that it has a really good, moderate longevity- around 6-7 hours of wear. This suits me just fine, because I would really would choose to wear it as a day fragrance- it's just so fresh and pretty! Michael Kors Turquoise will be available in New Zealand from the beginning of April at selected department stores and pharmacies, with an RRP of $138 for 50ml- please go and try it, you're going to LOVE!
