The co-founder Carmen Tal discovered the blend while she was travelling in Israel. She had an absolute mare with her hair when a colouring treatment went awry (I'm sure most of us can sympathise)...her friend took her to have an oil treatment at a salon, and voila- her hair went from damaged to silky smooth. At this point in time, oil treatments hadn't really hit the mainstream, but Carmen and her husband weren't bothered by this- they believed in he product too much. Now the range has grown from just the original Moroccanoil Hair treatment to shampoos, conditioners, masks and more. I have to say that this isn't one of those brands that offers a simple silicon "quick fix" (although you do see results straight away), your hair truly does get better and better with each use. It is a truly worthwhile investment- I swear on Giggy.*
Kyle Richards would give this 10/10, and a trip to the Maldives without Lisa being there.
Joyce Giraud would give this an 11/10 and a villa in Puerto Rico without Brandi being there.
What else can I say? Moroccanoil is magnificent! I'm going to be saving up to buy the shampoo, conditioner and hair mask because I NEED them. If you've never believed my reviews before now, you should honestly just do your hair a favour and listen to this one. You won't regret it!
Before I head off and watch RH of New York (they could use some Moroccanoil products, actually), I'll let you know that you can find out your nearest Moroccanoil stockist by calling 0800 252 230. You should head over to Facebook and like their page too, just to keep up to date https://www.facebook.com/Moroccanoil
*Giggy is the name of Lisa Vanderpump's very small dog- he is stupidly cute and extremely ridiculous -my favourite combination.
