This shade is only one of 8 new shades released from Elizabeth Arden, and it is PERFECTION (click here for a swatch). It's not Kylie Jenner--esque on its own, but over the top of a dark rose lip liner (my fave), it's super close. If you like a paler lip teamed with smokey eyes, you'll love this shade. I normally find matte formulations a wee bit uncomfortable and drying, but NOT these guys- seriously, they're so lovely! And they last, like absolute crazy- even without a liner. You'll be seeing more of them on my face, on this blog- go & check them out. You will LOVE.
Ohhhh, this is beautiful! I'm stupidly fussy about my skincare, and have firm favourites that I've decided I won't ever stray from- but this serum has earned a spot in my daily regime- I use it in the mornings before moisturiser. It contains a decently high dose of Vitamin C, which is an antioxidant (intensely moisturising), and it makes my skin feel super smooth and almost like I've had a normal amount of sleep. I'm in love with the brown bottle packaging, and the fact that it has a dropper dispenser- aka, zero chance of waste. Amazing stuff, honestly.
Everyone knows what an avid fan of Moroccanoil Hair Treatment I am, and I've been loving trying out their styling product range. The latest offering, Root Boost, is something I was in desperate need of, a product designed to give volume- yusssss! My hair is so limp since I got my beloved extensions taken out. The formulation isn't a mousse, but the spray is thicker than what you'd expect- it's meant to be applied on towel-dried hair at the roots, and then blow dried as usual. It's frickin amazing, I looked like I had another whole head of hair :O Best of all, there's no crunchy or sticky residue- my pet peeve. It's just like my own hair, but BIGGER.
If there's one thing I know you guys love, it's a fragrance from Juicy Couture- you talk about them allll the time. If you didn't know already, there's a gorgeous new one that has just launched in NZ- and I think you're going to go crazy over it. Check out the yum notes it contains: candied apple, pear, pomelo, creamy white petals, cashmere wood, soft musk, vanilla and marshmallow. I mean, why would you NOT want to smell like that?! The bottle is way too pretty and shiny to keep in the box, which breaks one of my cardinal beauty rules...but look at it! Divine.
I am LOVING these! Lip pencils have become my new go-to product, because not only do I love a matte lip but they last for absolute ages. I just can't be bothered touching my lips up all the time- and honestly, if you opt for a bright/dramatic lip colour it usually tends to be high maintenance. I've been wearing the hell out of the shades Heroine and Ruby Woo on their own, but obviously they could be layered with the same shades (or whatever you fancy) for even more oomph and staying power. These hit shelves on the 16th of March- and the good news is that they're here to stay- no limited editions, YAY!
I've been going crazy for makeup wipes lately, and I think this brand may be the fourth or fifth brand I've tried recently. Newsflash- they're my fave. Cleansing wipes are definitely not created equally, some are an absolute nightmare for your skin- but Manuka Doctor has absolutely nailed it. They're designed to cleanse, tone AND moisturise your skin; and while I won't be forgoing my usual skincare routine with separate cleansers every night. this is just because I am pedantic. I use these before I use anything else to remove the bulk of my makeup, and honestly, if I still went out on the razz I'd definitely make sure I kept these nearby. They are PERFECT for the occasional lazy night. And, they're only $9.95- amazing.
When a beauty product has to have a "DO NOT EAT" sticker on the side of it, you can be sure that it's going to smell pretty damn good. This body moisturiser is INSANE- I've never smelt a raspberry scent that is truly, properly "raspberry". It smells just like my favourite rasp' fizzy drink, and I can't get enough of it at the moment. I've been using Body Butter from the Body Shop for over, uhhh, 20 years now (shhh), so I feel fairly qualified to recommend it. It is super thick- a little goes a long way, and wonderfully hydrating, even on the worst areas like feet. The Early Harvest Raspberry Collection hits NZ shelves on Monday, and you really need to check it out. I'm also dying over the EDT from this collection- if I could get away with licking my wrists in public I'd be doing it. SO YUM.
This babe is one of the first Trilogy products I've tried, and now I'm on my third jar- this occurrence is super rare. Not just because of being a beauty blogger, but I suppose I can be a little fickle with products. I keep coming back to this though, because it's bloody great. It smells divine, which is actually pretty important to me with night creams; and whenever I use it, I'm confident I'll wake up with super smooth skin. It contains rosehip oil, acai berries, goji berries, avocado oil and Manuka honey- best.
LOVES! I have some spare samples of these to give away- tell me in the comments below which ones you'd love to try & I'll draw the winners in exactly ONE WEEK! <3
